OUR STORY
After receiving an undergraduate degree in Business, I began my professional career as an accountant and financial analyst for an international company. While I learned invaluable lessons with this experience, I always had a desire to work with nature and, more specifically, trees.
Fifteen years ago, I began that new career chapter working in horticulture. I had the opportunity to work at an arboretum, a tree nursery, and a tree care company. To further expand my tree education, I became a certified arborist and received Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ) through the International Society of Arboriculture. This optional but integral qualification allows me to provide information to tree owners and risk managers so they can make educated decisions that will result in healthy, beautiful trees, as well as safe property management.
According the ISA website, “Arborists are recognized as qualified, competent, and safe tree care professionals who are sought out the by the public, government organizations, and other professions.”
This notion speaks to my desire to serve individuals and companies who want to practice high quality tree care under the guidance of professionals. In fact, I started Connor Tree Service to provide local tree owners a unique level of professional care towards their trees. This care will enhance a tree’s natural beauty and at the same time prolong its health. I truly enjoy all aspects of working with trees, and this is demonstrated through our attention to detail, from initial consultation to final cleanup.
